- The action levels are likely to apply to non-domestic buildings with a public occupancy of more than 2000 hours per year (including schools);
- The guidance to be extended to cover all new buildings, extensions, conversions and refurbished existing buildings in the UK such that they should have basic radon protective measures as standard;
- The guidance to be extended for buildings requiring full radon protection such that they will need a radon test within the first year of occupation.
